The city center can be easily reached from the airport within 15 minutes by a hired taxi. It takes around 20 minutes to reach Bus SITA as bus shuttle operates frequently between the airport and also the railway station and the city. One can easily reach the airport from other cities from A11 and A1 from places like Prato, Pistoia, Montecatini, Lucca, Arezzo, Pisa, Carrara, Massa and more. The shuttles in the city are scheduled for every 30 minutes from 5.00 am to 8.00 pm and then after every 1 hour.

The airport has various buses and shuttles that help you reach various places. You can also hire taxis that you take you to Lucca. Buses regularly ply to Lucca, and the tickets are too affordable. The train takes 1 hour 45 minutes to reach Lucca, and the cost is 5 Euros. One can choose whichever option is suitable.
